Item Description
Sizes go from smallest 5/8" litho with the rest being cello up to 1.75". The first button in the group is Australian naming "Allan & Starks Buck Jones Club." This is rare. The litho is from a series of movie stars and the next three are from his "Buck Jones Rangers' Club Of America." These are the three known varieties from the club sponsored by Universal. Bottom row is souvenir of "Chicago Stadium Rodeo" and the only button we know of to name his horse "Silver." Last and with back paper by Phila. Badge is a Universal Pictures serial button with title "Gordon Of Ghost City." Far right at 3 o'clock has tiny tan mark and reverse has 1" hairline cello split although with celluloid laying very tight along the collet and not making any bumps on the rim edge when viewed from the front. This is from 1933. Outstanding collection from one of the movie cowboy greats who lost his life in the infamous 1942 Coconut Grove fire in Boston. VF/Exc. except as noted.
