Item Description
Original illustrated mailing envelope contains promotional kit for National Fireworks, Inc. Buck Rogers line released in 1937. Envelope shows obvious wear and is VG. Envelope contains 11-3/8x15" four-color advertisement showing various National kits, including four Buck Rogers kits. Buck Rogers image at center. Folded at center as issued. NM. 7-1/8x9" tri-fold catalog opens, revealing three panels, each panel w/different fireworks product. Catalog opens to full 16.5x21.5" sheet featuring a further six fireworks products. Of these, there are five Buck Rogers sets, including - "Battle Of Mars, Sun Gun Of Saturn, Chase Of Killer Kane, Battle Fleet Of Rocket Ships" and "Fireless Rocket Ships." Buck Rogers is mentioned by name on one text panel. Designs include wonderful rocketship designs. Exc. Kit also includes unused "National 'G' Boy Special Patrol" order form and 4th of July folder which mentions Buck Rogers and has coupon to send for "G-Boy Patrol Pin." This remains unused. Order w/o Buck Rogers mention has some lt. corner tip wear and is VF/Exc. while folder is Exc. All Buck Rogers fireworks sets are incredibly rare and desirable and this kit makes for an amazing reference to them. Rare and the first complete kit we've offered in our 49 years.
