Item Description
Lot of 11 different catalogs along w/three mailing envelopes and some misc. paperwork. c. 1936-1938. Companies include - Spencer, Paramount, Masten & Wells, Baltimore, Brazel Novelty, United Fireworks Display Co. An exceptional group of reference material showing a wide range of products. While some of the same companies are featured in previous lot #2340, none of the catalogs in this lot feature any Buck Rogers set. Non-firework items shown do include Gene Autry and Buck Jones guns as well as G-Man cap guns, a "Fire Plane" that is marked "Spirit Of Young America U.S.A." (clearly a Spirit of St. Louis-inspired creation), "Smoking Sambo" stereotypical African-American novelty, Uncle Sam (who is also featured on cover of one catalog) items, balloons, prank items, party hats/costumes, American flags, Halloween items (including pumpkin lanterns, games, pennants, skeleton decorations, etc.), parade masks, "Japanese Fancy Lanterns" and more. Condition varies but lot mostly Fine to VF. An instant collection.
