Item Description
15-5/8" tall solid painted plaster statue depicts masked Halloween partygoer, wearing mitre cap (a sign of power against unknown night spirits in ancient times) w/raised "Holloween" text across front. 1940s. He holds a jack-o-lantern pumpkin at his side. Some scattered paint flakes to jack-o-lantern, but not overly distracting. Right side of base has .25x1" surface flake. Statue still displays VF. A very different piece for both Halloween and carnival statue collectors. First we've seen in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 257 of his book "American Disguise."
