Item Description
Pair of 7.5" tall molded papier maché lanterns w/wire bail handles and eyes/mouth paper inserts. 1940s. Offered here are black and orange color varieties; orange variety is complete w/paper label on underside noting manufacturer as Pulp Reproduction Company of Milwaukee, WI. Interiors have some wear to paper inserts, but this does not affect display of exteriors. Orange lantern has .75" hole where wire handle connects. Some lt. scattered paint wear, VF overall. Nice pair to display together.
