Item Description
1.25" real photo button inscribed "Welcome Trans-Atlantic Heroes/Conquerors Of The Air." These three men flew the Bremen on the first successful flight east to west April 12-13, 1928. Pictured left to right are Von Huenefeld, Fitzmaurice and Koehl. There are a couple of background dots near the top just a hair of a darker tone than the surrounding background but hardly dark enough to warrant the word spot. Overall NM and it displays as such. Rare.
