Item Description
First is 1.75" without back paper but known to have been made by NYC jobber W.F. Miller. Button consists of a choice color circular paper beneath the celluloid covering and with printing surrounding which heralds the start of the 20th century. Beautiful color scene depicts female angel along with three cherubs. Only the second example seen in our 49 years. Tiny trace of age on reverse edge but front is essentially Mint. Comes along with a 7/8" button featuring crossed flags, shield and border of stars encompassing text "Class Of 1901." Reverse has tin covered back and horizontal pin with back stamped by maker Pin-Lock, Chicago. First we've seen and NM displaying Mint. A rare pair.
