Item Description
Each 1.25" and both with W&H back papers. The first has text "Mifflin Co. Victory Celebration/July 4th 1919 To Honor Our War Heroes." Reverse collet holds American flag. Tiny age on the fabric and cello has slightest bit of age spotting on extreme outer edge but not dark. Full gloss and a scarce Pennsylvania issue. VF. Next from the same time period has head of Uncle Sam above exploding firecracker. The lack of text suggests this may have been a salesman's sample button. A rare design we don't recall seeing before. NM displaying Mint.
