Pair of posters addressed to International Chain & Mfg. Co. of York, PA. First measures 28x40" and comes in original "Official War Poster" envelope. War Production Board A3 poster published by US Government Printing Office #449797, 1942. Graphics feature image of Navy gunner at gun, w/three warplanes in distant bkg. by Fred Ludekens. Text reads "He's A Fighting Fool - Give Him The Best You've Got - More Production." This was part of a five-poster set, all focused on promoting wartime production. Folded as issued, poster has some small creases at fold crease intersections, but is o/w VF/Exc. Envelope shows edge wear w/moderate creases. Top has been neatly sliced open. Fine. Second measures 28x39.75" and comes in original "War Production Board" envelope. War Manpower Commission poster published by US Government Printing Office #0-477830, 1942. Graphics feature photo image of woman working power tool to secure parts on rocket. Text reads "Women In The War - We Can't Win Without Them." Folded as issued, poster has some larger creases as folded at lower fold crease intersections, but is o/w Exc. Envelope shows scattered edge wear. Fine/VF. Nice homefront graphics.
