Item Description
7.75x8-3/8" cardstock w/separate 3.5x8.5" sheet attached. Sheet is attached via staple at upper left and shows photo image of tin litho button selection of five that includes "Superman Muscle Building Club" button offered in Peter Puppet Plaything boxed set (see previous item #2098). Back of sheet notes specifics for styles and prices as well as listing 1957 date. Sample card contains five buttons, four of which are different than pictured image, though as issued. Pogo button is same pictured in example photo. Others included are American flag, Jiminy Cricket United Way, Howdy Doody and Cisco Kid, ranging in size from .75" dia. to 1-3/8" dia. Complete as issued. Card has pin holes along left margin and buttons exhibit varying degrees of wear, w/Jiminy Cricket showing most wear. Buttons are VG to Exc. Sheet is Fine/VF. An interesting item for Superman and button collectors. First we've seen in our 49 years. Franco Toscanini Collection.
