Item Description
Vintage 1949-1950s lot consists of 8x10" glossy photo of Reeves in Superman costume as well as two smaller fan photos (one w/scalloped edges, one w/straight edges) featuring same pose w/facsimile inscription/signature. This same image is featured again on promotional folder for Reeves personal appearances. Lot also includes Reeves' actor resume card and 2.75x3-7/8" double-sided "Channel 11 Superman Club - Supermen Of America" membership card featuring Reeves as Superman image. Card is unused. Items come w/TLS from Reeves estate detailing this 1998 transaction between Franco Toscanini and "Adventures Of Superman"George Reeves historian Chuck Harter. Scattered handling wear/aging. Fine-VF overall. Card and promotional folder are rare and first we've seen in our 49 years. Unique lot. Franco Toscanini Collection.
