Item Description
Pair of solid resin scratch-built figures by modeler extraordinaire Terry Reynolds of California. His work is featured on pages 25-26 of "Superhero Collectibles: A Pictorial Price Guide" by Bill Bruegman. Created in the 1990s. Both figures feature George Reeves as he appeared in the 1952-1958 TV series "The Adventures Of Superman." First figure shows Reeves as Superman and stands 14.75" tall (including stepped base). Superman is depicted in classic hands on hips pose. Clark Kent figure stands 14" tall (including different base). Both are part of a series of custom superhero figures created by Reynolds. Wonderfully painted and detailed, these figures come from an era before the collectible figures and statues of today were commonplace. Figures show lt. trace wear, including small scuff to Superman's arm, but are o/w Exc. for display. Franco Toscanini Collection.
