Item Description
27x41" one-sheet for original release of the 1941 Columbia Pictures serial. This is for Chapter 5, "The Gargoyle's Trial." Features inset movie scene showing Warren Hull as The Spider along w/co-stars Mary Ainslee, Dave O'Brien and Kenneth Duncan. Image of The Gargoyle at upper left, holding ring menacingly as clawed device reaches for Statue of Liberty at right. Additional cast images at bottom. Poster has been folded as issued and has pin holes at corners and along margins (as well as throughout poster; though most blend) w/strips of aged tape at top/bottom center margins. Fold crease intersections show some scattered wear w/brown paper tape repair to small tear at bottom fold crease intersection on reverse. Additional brown paper tape repairs on reverse to a few tears. VG overall, but if matted and framed, poster would display Fine.
