Item Description
27-1/8x41" one-sheet poster for the original 1943 release of the 12 chapter Republic serial. This is for Chapter 2, "Death Takes The Helm." Poster features The Masked Marvel w/stereotypical anti-Japanese villain looming at top. Poster also features inset film scene showing man attempting to stab The Masked Marvel w/harpoon (faint 1.25" spot of staining at this area). Poster has been folded as issued (now rolled) and has pin holes at corners. Strips of aged tape at top/bottom center margins. Margins show wear w/some tears along fold creases and at edges as well as wear w/some small holes at fold crease intersections. 2" vertical tear at lower left. VG overall, but despite issues, poster would still display nicely if framed.
