Item Description
Set of six 7.5x9" illustrated envelopes containing numbered 8.5x14" stapled packets of various "Funniest Cartoons Of The War" and pin-ups by noted cartoonist Vic Green. Offered here are Nos. 1-4 and "Left-Overs" book. All remain sealed in envelopes as issued. Additionally lot comes w/opened example of first issue. All 1940s and all feature his "Green Girls" and various types of pin-up and saucy World War II era humor. Opened example's envelope has uneven right margin as opened and envelope is VG/Fine. Packet has some oxidation soiling to staple, but is o/w VF. Sealed sets show some scattered envelope wear and are Fine/VF w/NM contents. Lot also comes w/unused illustrated order form for first and second issues. NM.
