Item Description
Pair of 4.75" long illustrated cardboard window boxes, each containing a single wooden fishing lure, each w/pair of metal treble hooks and flasher attachment. c. 1948. Boxes features same graphics of "Li'l Abner" characters, end panel of each box has different stamped stock number. Boxes show wear and one has pair of 3/8" tears at bottom window corners and window is partially loose. VG. Other box has moderate color rubs to lid and us VG/Fine overall. These lures came in a variety of colors, each w/painted Shmoo image on top w/simulated fish design on undersides. Lures are NM. Scarce w/boxes. Barry Lutsky Collection.
