Item Description
Lot of three items released during the 1950s for CBS children's TV show that aired 1953-1957. Hosted by Jack Barry, the show featured the exploits of a cartoon character named Winky Dink (voiced by Betty Boop's Mae Questel) and his dog Woofer. Offered here two boxed items; 11.5x15.75x1.5" deep box contains paint/crayon set by Standard Toykraft. Set is complete and includes paint pads, paints in glass bottles, basin, paintbrushes, crayons and "Winky Dink, Dusty Dan, Jack Berry, Mike McBean" coloring sheets. Box shows edge/corner wear to lid and is Fine overall. Contents are unused and aside from some aging to crayons, VF-Exc. overall. 12.75x15.75x1" deep box contains Standard Toykraft Products "Winky Dink Television Game Kit" that includes crayons, Magic Window, erasing mitt, puzzle, plastic Winky Doodles and Magic TV Game Book. Die-cut box lid simulates TV screen w/openings showing characters underneath. Box has some lt. color rubs. Insert loose from perforations, but in place. VF. Kit is unused and NM. Both boxed sets are rare and complete and unused. Comes w/1-1/8" dia. litho w/name and portrait. Some scattered lt. wear but still glossy and VF. Scarce.
