Item Description
Pair of 13" tall figures, both made in matching style. 1950s. Solid painted plaster carnival statue depicts Howdy Doody as Western sheriff, complete w/cowboy hat, sheriff star, gloves and chaps. Some lt. scattered wear but VF/Exc. overall. Comes w/vinyl squeaking doll in exact same configuration by Stahlwood Toy Mfg. Co., Inc. Doll shows moderate paint wear to hat brim and gloves and has scattered dust soiling and just comes along. Carnival statue is first we've seen in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection and the carnival statue is example shown on page 262 of his book "American Disguise."
