Item Description
26-1/4x38-3/8". Letter at bottom left on German stationery marked "Confidential" at top and regards the Republicans desire for air support and last line loosely translating to "The Situation Here Is Such That By Progressively Increasing The Power Of Marxists We Can Not Expect Anything Good." Illustration of six child bombing victims around the letter all set on a map of Spain. Above and to the right is an image of Adolf Hitler pointing to a group of ten planes, each w/swastika on wings, flying towards an image of a happy child near a dot marked "Paris" all set on a map of France.   Three horizontal and one vertical folds stabilized on reverse w/paper tape. Bottom right corner has a .25x.75" area of loss. Top left corner has 1.5" tear repaired w/clear tape on reverse. Overall moderate handling wear. Good displaying VG. Could benefit greatly from a trip to a paper conservation expert. An outstanding and powerful poster that is the first example we have encountered in our 49 years. Ted Watts Collection.
