Item Description
24x32" silkscreened textile. Late 1930s. Illustration of Mussolini as a fork tongued snake slithering from a cannon w/one arm raised to the sky and the other holding a bloody dagger. Additional graphics of rifle w/fixed bayonet and a gallows pole w/hanging noose. Pin holes at corners and less than 1.5" area of ghosting around outer edge. Typical fraying at top and bottom and a 3" light fold at bottom right corner. VF. Rare banner produced by an important left wing New York City art collective.
