Item Description
Button sizes are 1.5" up to 2.25". Numerous buttons have ribbon attachments and one includes a brass shell basketball suspension. Six of these buttons carry a date with the earliest being 1923 and the latest 1931. Numerous high schools are named along with several colleges and several of the buttons reference a "Tournament" with one from 1925 inscribed "State Championship" with ribbons naming University Of New Hampshire (small tear on ribbon). Only a couple with a tiny trace of age. Vast majority are Exc. to Mint. These figural basketball buttons are much rarer than their counter-part figural football buttons. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
