Item Description
Sizes are 13/16" to 2". The first three buttons with W&H back papers 1896-1898 picture Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Stonewall Jackson. Fourth item, without paper but from the same time period shows the "Confederate States" flag. A little yellow tone. Fifth button shows the daughter of Jefferson Davis and promotes a railroad with text "L & N. R.R./Best Route To Louisville." Next are two buttons picturing Lee. The first is a real photo c. 1910 and the second is a litho from a 1930s set of military and other famous people. Next is real photo c. 1910 of Confederate "Gen. Gordon." Next is c. 1900 button with covered tin back by St. Louis Button Co. and vertical pin. This shows three flags. In the bottom row is a 1950s litho followed by a 1961 "Centennial" button and last is c. 1970 stating "General Lee Was A Rebel." The button with the three flags has three  very tiny edge nicks but otherwise all are VF/NM.
