Item Description
Original 4.75x8-3/8x2.25" deep illustrated cardboard box contains tin litho train car w/four separate tin litho dimensional chickens attached to top, surrounding tin litho feed pan. Built-in key. Ferdinand Strauss Corp., 1920s. Box features nice graphics on all sides and shows scattered lt. wear and even aging. Missing two inner flaps, w/two loose inner flaps included. Box still displays Fine overall. When wound, train car moves in wide circle as hens and chicks bob up and down as if pecking at food. Works well. Toy has some scattered lt. wear in the form of tiny paint nicks/scratches. VF.
