Item Description
Sizes are 1-5/8" up to the big aluminum star at 3" tall. First and third items consist of a highly convex six pointed silver metal star. At center of star a brass rim holds a cardboard portrait of Hoppy, one with yellow background and one with red. There was never any type of fastener on the reverse and we do not know how these were used. The second item is a slightly convex sheet of die cut aluminum in the shape of a six point star with explosion design surrounding text "Read Hopalong Cassidy In The P.I." The initials likely stand for Post Intelligencer. Light loss of some of the black coloration or possibly as printed. Next are three different litho tin tabs with the first having a stem once folded under but now straightened and the other two with tabs never folded. These advertise "Hyde Park Milk", "Stroehmann's Bread", and "See Hoppy/11:30 Saturdays/WSM-TV/Anthony's Milk." This last tab we believe originated in Nashville. All VF to Exc.
