Item Description
Pair of 1920s advertising signs for two different hair tonics. 9-1/8x13.25" tin litho over cardboard w/easel back advertises "Japp's Hair Rejuvenator" by The J.G. Japp Toilet Requisite Co. of Cincinnati, OH. Text at top boasts "Restores Gray Hair Instantly" and is flanked by image of woman and man, each w/half a head of gray head, the other half "restored" by Japp's. Center of sign has series of seven pairs of holes as made for holding hair color examples. Scattered lt. edge wear but o/w VF. 5.75x9.75" open wood frame (added) contains tin litho sign for "Vigorator Foaming Hair Tonic And Head Rub" by Bellefontaine of Montreal, Canada. Sign features image of man washing hair under "Dissolves Dandruff" text. Sign has some scattered wear w/a few tiny spots of paint of but is o/w Fine/VF.
