Item Description
Sizes are 7/8" up to the oval at 1-3/8". Group begins with button which came on the doll likeness of early child star made famous after his 1921 appearance in Chaplin's film classic The Kid. This doll was issued shortly after that and reads "Jackie Coogan Kid/Horsman Doll/Patent Pending." Back paper by NY firm Pioneer. Exc. Next are two different 1.25" buttons picturing another child star from the late 1930s known as "Baby Sandy" who was considered Universal Pictures "Wonder Baby" and their answer to Shirley Temple. Born prematurely, she was in her first film at age 15 months and made her last film before her fifth birthday. The brown tone button may show a tiny mark on lower edge but that was dirt now removed and both buttons are essentially Mint. Next is oval button for "Little Miss Movie" followed by a pair of real photo buttons, with two different photos, for "Baby Charming". These last three are for dolls made in the 1930s by Goldberger whose name appears on each curl. The "Everybody Loves Me" button has diagonal scratch showing slightly across her white dress but other than this these three are NM displaying Mint.
