Item Description
1.25". Unusual back paper w/sticker reading "Copyright 1908 By Charles K. Cohn" placed on a Cohn Milwaukee paper. Text on curl reads "Pat. Appl'd For Jan. 1908 Order Of Charles K. Cohn, Milwaukee USA." Outstanding design w/young portrait of La Follette at center and eagle w/American shield at bottom. Pillars flanking portrait each have a large lion head at top and read "Equal Rights For All" and "Special Privileges For None" respectively. Exc. displaying Mint. La Follette, best known for his 1924 Progressive Party campaign for President, was a hopeful for the Republican Party nomination in 1908.
