Item Description
7/8" to 1.5". The Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee was among the most important groups of the civil rights movement during the 1960s.  It spawned such luminaries as Congressman John Lewis and Stokely Carmichael. All three of these buttons were issued in the mid to late 1960s around voting rights initiatives across the South. All have surface wear consistent w/light use. Exc. to NM.
