Item Description
Complete set of four approx. 15x22.5" thin artboards w/pen and ink original art for "Angel In My Pocket" storyline that was published by Harvey Publications in Aug., 1952. Pencil and inks were provided by Al Avison and artboards represent complete story that deals w/Korean War jet pilot talking about mission where he gained his faith, having been shot by Korean pilot, only for Bible given to him before take-off stopping bullet from entering his chest. First page has three staple holes at top left and artboards have scattered corner tip wear and dust soiling/aging. Fine/VF overall w/Exc. art. Great action-packed story.
