Item Description
1" holed as made and with Mint luster brass frame. Their names and the date are noticeably smaller than on the typically seen ferrotypes. The Breckinridge emulsion has numerous craze lines but they show only in reflected light and viewed straight on are not very evident at all. There is no emulsion loss and the image is very clear. The Lane ferrotype is greatly darkened and his image is just barely visible. The front of the piece still displays NM. Ted Watts Collection.
