Item Description
First is Hake #47, a 2" wide stamp with text supporting The League and text "Vote For Cox And Roosevelt." Light vertical center crease and minor toning. VF. Small .75" button names "League Of Nations." Top and bottom each have a tiny stain dot. Reverse has heavier than usual oxidation on the collet but not causing any stain other than the two mentioned dots. Back paper by Hyatt. Fine. The larger badge is 1.5" tall in silvered brass frame encompassing sheet of celluloid with text "Maryland State Convention For League Of Nations January 11th, 1919 Baltimore." A little brown tone at bottom left was surface dirt now removed. The piece is essentially Mint. Ted Watts Collection.
