1-1/8" copper token. Reverse reads "United States Of America" around rim and "Liberty 1838" at center encircled by a laurel wreath. Commissioned by the American Anti-Slavery Society and struck by Gibbs Gardner and Co. A well preserved example w/pleasant toning. Extremely Fine. Scarce. Ted Watts Collection.
