Item Description
Buttons are 1.25" to 2.25". The name badges are rectangular clear plastic 2.5x3.5" each with a bar pin on the back and an inserted card. The first of these is from "1974 International Star Trek Convention." There is an autograph across the image of the Enterprise although we cannot decipher a name. Reverse of card states "This Card Is Your Admission Ticket-If You Lose It You Will Be Required To Purchase A New Membership..." Second card has full color insert picturing Kirk, Spock and McCoy. This has text on the back similar to the first and this one references "This Is Your Ticket For Al Schuster's 4th Annual International Star Trek Convention..." Back of the piece has original small piece of masking tape which holds the card into the plastic holder and a second small piece of tape which seals the open edge closed. These two pieces of tape obscure some of the text in the first paragraph. Among the buttons, the three in the top row reference David Gerrold, a science fiction writer known for his popular original Star Trek episode "The Trouble With Tribbles." Two of these are of a "Fan" nature and the larger is a cartoon showing a Tribble being stomped with text "They Make Such A Nice Sound When You Squish Them!!" All items, with the one card exception, are essentially Mint.
