Item Description
Each is 1.25". These are unlicensed buttons that were extremely popular in underground head shops in the mid to late 1960s. First is one "Snoopy For President" button. This has some limited darker dots on the background. VG. The remaining 24 buttons are NM to Mint. In the top row we have Lucy for "Secretary Of War" and "For First Lady." Next is "Vote For Charlie Brown." Next are a pair of different color buttons "Schroeder For Chief Justice." Row two buttons are all "Linus For Secretary Of Defense." Row three buttons are all "Good Grief! Vote For Charlie Brown." Row four buttons are all "Snoopy For President" in a type face different than the first button in the group. Majority of these would have been used around the 1968 Nixon vs. Humphrey election.
