Item Description
1930s large and impressive 21.25x24.75" calendar topper (w/metal strip at top) has had calendar pad area at bottom trimmed off. Topper features nicely illustrated scene by noted calendar artist Adelaide Hiebel entitled "The Traffic Court." Scene features "Our Gang" star George "Spanky" McFarland as judge listening as crossing guard present case of boy on scooter. Dog stands beside boy as girl hold doll beside vintage pedal car at left. Narrative text appears above large "If You Stop To Think - You Will Think To Stop" text. 1.5" strip of aged tape on Spanky's chest. Scattered handling wear along edges and at corners. Fine overall.
