Item Description
8.25x21.5x3.25" deep painted wood (red w/black corners) hinged-lid box contains 1929 magic set #2007 by A.C. Gilbert Co. Lid features worn Gilbert decal. Underside of lid features graphics of child magician w/wand pointing to table w/several magic tricks, including top hat w/white rabbit. Front of tablecloth has image of winged devil w/"Mysto" name. This is Exc. Box has some corner tip wear but is o/w VF overall. Contents appear complete and come w/four manuals - "Book Of Instructions For Use With Gilbert Puzzle Parties, Gilbert Knots & Splices, Book Of Instructions - Gilbert Mysto Magic, Gilbert Handkerchief Tricks" as well five separate cardboard compartment containing various components for magic tricks including magic coins, metal rings, wooden balls, handkerchiefs, etc. Scattered lt. wear but VF/Exc. overall.
