Item Description
6-5/8x7.75x4-3/8" deep wooden hinged lid case contains Gilbert Receiving Outfit No. 4016 from 1922. Front of case has metal plate w/"The A.C. Gilbert Co." name/address. Underside of lid has illustrated instructions for use. These have rippling to paper and some lt. scattered aging. Lower left has creasing and 1" tear. Fine. Thin plastic sheet covering receiving unit has .5" cracks at top corners from tightening screws, which have some oxidation in slotted heads. Metal screws/hardware exhibit some aging, but overall, set displays Fine/VF. Untested. Rare. Barry Lutsky Collection.
