Item Description
10.25x16.75x3.25" deep wooden hinged lid case contains Gilbert Wireless Telegraph Set. A.C. Gilbert, 1920s. Comes w/worn "Book Of Instructions - Gilbert Wireless" which features illustrations throughout. Cover shows moderate wear w/name/address stamps and archival tape repair to 5.75" tear. VG. Case has pair of two holes on front on either side of latch, likely from missing carrying handle. Front of case has metal latch and case opens to reveal dual telegraph units w/pair of listening devices (which show wear and appear to be replacements. Each telegraph unit is mounted on cardboard w/"Wireless Code" and operating instructions printed on it. Set appears complete and unused w/exception of aforementioned listening devices. Set o/w displays Fine/VF. Untested. Scarce set. Barry Lutsky Collection.
