Item Description
1936 ring issued as a radio premium by Cream Of Wheat and also as a newspaper premium. Known within the Buck Rogers Club literature as the "Repeller Ray Ring" and as the "Supreme Inner Circle Ring." Side panels have tiny star accent and text "Buck Rogers Solar Scouts." Ring top depicts Buck in his rocket ship with his arm raised and holding his rocket pistol. He is surrounded by four tiny accent stars while on the right is a partial image of a cratered moon with four burst lines emanating from it. At the center of the rocket ship is a beautiful emerald green faceted stone. This is an outstanding example and has only the most trivial loss of gloss showing only under magnification. The ring has beautiful, brilliant luster and this example is about as Mint as possible. We sold this same ring about five years ago and it realized just over $2,500. A conservative opening bid.
