Item Description
10x18x2.5" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains near complete 1931 set No. 600 by A.C. Gilbert Co. Lid features images of balloons and children making/playing w/them. Box has some minor corner tip wear w/some scattered aging along left side of lid. Box is o/w VF. Contents allowed user to "Make Balloons At Home" using process that required one to "Simply Dip The Form In Liquid Rubber And Dry." Illustrated die-cut cardboard insert contains two of three glass jars of liquid rubber (which has long since dried out), two lead balloon forms, metal rod w/wooden handles, two metal stands for balloon forms, metal clasp and original electrical cord/plug. Set also comes w/illustrated instruction folder. Scattered lt. wear but VF/Exc. overall. Scarce. Barry Lutsky Collection.
