Item Description
These pieces came with the preceding Davis items. The first item is a c. 1894 celluloid insert on silvered brass 7/8" lapel stud. We can't identify this gentleman but condition is Exc. Next are a pair of "Cornwell" buttons, 5/8", for the West Virginia 1904 Democratic governor candidate. Next is "For Governor W.R. Thompson." He was a 1912 West Virginia candidate. Next is a 9/16" "Oldham For Congress." He was a Democratic candidate 1924-26. Last is a "For U.S. Senator W.E. Chilton." This is a 7/8". He won in 1910 and lost in 1916 and 1924. Only the item for Thompson has a backpaper. Condition overall Exc. to NM.
