22-1/8x28" thin cardboard poster for April 21, 1965 concert that took place at the Charleston County Hall in Charleston, SC that featured Jackie Wilson, Solomon Burke, Ben E. King, B.B. King, Little Stevie Wonder, Barbara Lynn, The Tams, Gladys Knight & The Fabulous Pips, Mitty Collier; all of whom are pictured on the poster as well as MC Gorgeous George. Printed by Posters Inc. of Philadelphia, PA. Poster shows obvious wear w/professional restoration including paper-backing/reinforcement along several large tears, 1" area of restoration at center. Tears to poster remain visible and left margin has been trimmed ever so lightly and is noticeable only upon close examination and does not affect the striking image area. Two staple holes along upper right margin and three staple holes at bottom; two in Gladys Knight name area. VG. Extremely rare, this is one of just two known examples of this poster from this tour, and this one is the only known poster example from this tour from any city. A true survivor w/outstanding content and featuring six members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
