Item Description
This beautifully designed and scarce 1.25" button has curl text reading "Parisian Novelty Co. Chicago-Sole Licensee." Betty is posed on stage between curtains and button likely dates from the time of her earliest appearances in cartoons by creator Max Fleischer which began in 1930. Bottom right carries small text "©Fleischer Studios." The first button for a major character who endures today and one of only seven we've seen in our 49 years. This is an outstanding example and essentially Mint.
