Item Description
Each 1.25", the first with concave back and horizontal bar pin naming maker on the curl Photo Jewelry, Chicago. Second carries back paper from Keystone Badge, Reading. Each has identical text "What Did The Woggle Bug Say?" These were issued in 1904 to promote Baum's newspaper comic page titled "Queer Visitors From The Marvelous Land Of Oz." These are the two earliest known buttons related to Oz. The yellow background button has tiny dot at 8 o'clock on the edge which is a little indent and shows as a slightly grey mark. Otherwise, all aspects of both buttons are essentially Mint.
