Item Description
14x21" thin cardboard hand-painted display sign for penny arcade view machine w/color-tinted photo. Early 1900s. 7-1/8x9-1/8" photo depicts man and women reacting to performer in black face seated in chair. Scene's bkg. includes signs noting "Try A Magnetic Massage" and "Warts Removed While You Wait." Hand-lettered sign reads "Fooling The Beauty Doctor - 15 Views 1¢ - A Study In Black And White." Sign has moderate edge wear including some scattered moisture staining (more noticeable along bottom) and corner tip/edge wear w/1" tear at top center margin. Fine overall. Photo remains VF/Exc. Great display piece.
