Item Description
Original cardboard window box w/illustrated back panel contains 8.75" long nicely designed tin litho car w/vinyl tires and metal hubcaps. Made in Japan by Daiya, 1970. Box shows scattered wear w/corner crease and edge rubs. Window is loose along top and shows moderate wear. One inner flap has 2" tear. VG. Nicely detailed tin litho interior w/separate plastic steering wheel. Also detailed w/Porsche hood emblem and name, "STP, Champion, Shell, Valvoline" and "Firestone" sponsor logos. Tin litho "VW-Porsche 914" license plates at front/back. Works w/bump-and-go action. Exc. Scarce.
