Item Description
Lot of six artboard panels, measuring between 4-3/8x6" and 6x7.5". All feature highly detailed pen and ink original art (one w/applied screentone shading accents) depicting boy wearing various five varieties of official "Lone Ranger" costumes made by Collegeville. Art dates to 1938-1939. All but one offer Lone Ranger kerchiefs and chaps; and all but two offer vests. Interesting to note the many variations of the various costumes. Some scattered production notations at margins of three. Overall aging w/some uneven edges and surface dust. Art images remain VF. Comes w/four vintage ads featuring similar style art of these costumes. An interesting and unique lot.
