Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box w/die-cut display lid contains cardboard tray insert that holds 10.5" long hard plastic truck modeled on a 1953 Ford panel truck, w/opening hood w/motor and opening back door. Truck has "Revell Television Service" and "Speedy TV Service" decals on sides and comes w/removable hard plastic ladder on roof. Wonderful concept for play set based on rising interest in TV during the early 1950s. Box shows some aging and scattered wear w/display lid having been punched. 1" tear at front right of display area. Box is Fine overall. Complete contents (some in original unopened cellophane bag) include - TV set chassis and interior, picture tube, diagnostic tester box and antenna. Also has tools, wrench and jack for changing wheels. NM, old store stock from a closed toy distributor/wholesaler and most likely the only set known in this pristine/complete condition.
