Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box w/die-cut display lid contains cardboard tray insert that holds 10.25" long hard plastic truck modeled on a 1953 Ford pick-up truck, w/opening hood w/motor and lowering tailgate. Truck has "Revell Gardening Service" decal on doors and comes w/removable hard plastic ladder on right side of truck and usable water tank behind cab. Wonderful concept for early 1950s play set. Box shows lt. aging/handling and display lid has been partially punched. VF overall. Complete contents (some in original unopened cellophane bag) include - pots, sprinkling can, shears, hose for water tank, wheelbarrow and power mower plus wrench and jack for changing tires. Set even comes w/seed packet of "Sweet Peas Packed Especially For Revell Young Gardener Play Set." NM, old store stock from a closed toy distributor/wholesaler and most likely the only set known in this pristine/complete condition.
