Item Description
Lot of three approx. 14.5x19.5" frames, each containing cover proofs for "Scribner's Magazine" published by Charles Scribner's Son Ltd. and featuring early Maxfield Parrish covers. Covers have blanks backs, indicating their use as proofs. Cover dates are as follows - Oct. 1899 w/woman holding grapes, Dec. 1899 "Christmas Number" w/shepherd and sheep, Oct. 1900 w/woman w/harvest in her lap. Two of the three bear Parrish's initials. Each has been professionally matted and framed for attractive presentations. VF/Exc.
